1. Mission, Values & Expected Conduct

Lambda Iota Chi Christian Sorority is a faith-based sisterhood committed to Christian fellowship, leadership, service, integrity, and sisterhood. All members, applicants, volunteers, parents/guardians, and participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with Christian values, respect, and ethical behavior.

The Sorority reserves the right to address behavior that conflicts with its mission and values.

2. Eligibility, Applications & Membership

Membership eligibility is governed by the Sorority’s official governing documents and policies.
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Lambda reserves the sole right to approve, deny, suspend, or revoke membership or participation at its discretion.
Membership is a privilege, not a right.

3. Youth Divisions (Little Gems & Crown Jewels)

Participation of minors (including Little Gems and Crown Jewels) requires parent or legal guardian consent.

Parents/guardians acknowledge:

Participation is voluntary
They assume responsibility for their child’s participation
They grant permission for their child to participate in activities, events, travel, and programming
They release Lambda from liability to the extent permitted by law

4. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

All logos, names, documents, programs, photos, videos, writings, event themes, and materials created by Lambda Iota Chi Christian Sorority are the exclusive intellectual property of the Sorority.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, altered, or used without prior written permission.

Unauthorized use of the Sorority’s name or likeness may result in legal action.

5. Events, Activities & Assumption of Risk

Participation in Sorority events, meetings, travel, community service, pageants, programs, or gatherings is voluntary.

By participating, you acknowledge:

Assumption of personal risk
Agreement to follow leadership guidance and event rules
Release of liability for injury, loss, or damages to the fullest extent permitted by law

6. Photo, Video & Media Release

By attending Sorority events or participating in activities, you grant Lambda Iota Chi Christian Sorority permission to photograph and record you (or your child) and use such media for promotional, educational, and sorority purposes, including website, social media, and printed materials, without compensation.

7. Payments, Fees, Dues & Donations

All dues, fees, registrations, and donations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
Lambda is not responsible for errors, fees, or disruptions caused by payment processors.

8. Communications & Consent

By providing contact information, you consent to receive official communications related to sorority activities, membership, events, and updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

9. Code of Conduct & Removal

Lambda reserves the right to remove, suspend, or restrict any participant, member, parent, or visitor whose behavior:

Disrupts events or operations
Violates Christian values or respectful conduct
Harms the reputation of the Sorority
Violates these Terms

10. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt unauthorized access, distribute harmful content, or use the site in a way that could damage the Sorority or its members.

11. Limitation of Liability

Lambda Iota Chi Christian Sorority is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Personal injury, loss, or damages beyond what is legally required
Technical issues, website downtime, or service disruptions beyond our control

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
